HELMUT HAUKE
Independent
Helmut, a native German, came to Canada in 1988 and
has lived in Calgary since 1990.
In addition to an MBA he holds Professional Designations from the
Certified General Accountant's Association - CGA (Canada) and the
Association of Chartered Certified Accountants - ACCA (UK). He has
worked in various industries in Germany, the United Kingdom, and Canada.
Here in Canada his main focus has been on the energy sector where he
spent the last twenty years in various accounting related roles.
Through his management consulting practice he is providing his expertise
to oil and gas clients but has also been working with educational
institutions including the University of Calgary, SAIT’s School of
Business and the MacPhail School of Energy. His involvement with CEAMS
began in 2010 when he authored the material for its EAM Operational
Accounting modules.
Helmut is closely involved with the accounting profession and is a past
Chairman of the Board of Directors Calgary Chapter of the Certified
General Accountant’s Association of Alberta and also serves on its
committee of subject matter experts.
