Don Ratcliff

Don Ratcliff began his career as Surface Land Agent after graduating from Olds College in 1985. During his career Don has worked at a number of companies, including, NOVA, TransCanada Pipelines, ExxonMobil, Apache, until he joined Enerplus in 2006. Don has had the good fortune to have worked with many excellent people and on a variety of different projects over the years. This employment experience has provided numerous opportunities to broaden his skill set into Community/Stakeholder Relations, Emergency Preparedness and Response, in addition to Surface Land acquisition, administration and supervision/management.

During his career, Don has pursued further education through the generosity of corporate sponsored education programs, attaining his SR/WA professional designation from the International Right of Way Association in 1992, a Certificate from Boston College in Corporate Community Relations in 1996 and is currently pursuing his P Land designation from the Canadian Association of Petroleum Landman. Don joined the CEAMS Board of Directors in 2010, and looks forward to the opportunity to promote the EAM program and increase awareness about the importance of this role to the Oil and Gas industry.
