Kathy Ward joined Canadian Natural in 2004 after 21 years as a Client Representative for an Oil and Gas Software company. Since coming to Canadian Natural, she has served as Manager of Land Systems for the last 7 years. She currently has 9 staff that supports Mineral Land, Surface Land, Joint Venture, Well Operations, A & D and Asset Rationalization on system related issues. She was able to identify user requirements and put together processes and procedures to assist business in their day to day work.
She served as CAPLA Technology Director from 2002 – 2006 and together with her committee developed a new website for the association.
Outside of her professional life, she served as Captain of the Ladies Executive at Wintergreen Golf and Country Club for 3 years.
