Deanne Wheeler-Felstad

Deanne Wheeler-Felstad graduated from the University of Calgary, and also holds a Petroleum Engineering Technology Certificate from SAIT.
Over her 15+ years in industry, she briefly worked in Marketing and Land/JV; however, Drilling/Completions, and Well Asset Management (WAM) are where she laid down career roots. A solid foundation of WAM expertise led eventually to leadership roles within Cenovus. Deanne has led Well Asset Mgmt teams for the last eight years, and currently holds the position of Team Lead, Well Asset Management. Deanne is proud of the role Well Asset Management plays by enabling the business through solid people, process and technology around the management of well inventory.
In 2006, Deanne joined CEAMS' Education Task Force Steering Committee and has made contributions to both the high level course design as well as the intimate course content creation. In 2009, Deanne joined the CEAMS Board of Directors, and looks forward to hiring future EAM grads, and what CEAMS can bring to industry.
